About me
My name is Kate and I have been trading as Perfect Touch since May 2006. I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist and a Creative Nail Design Master Nail Technician. I attended Abingdon College after school and qualified to NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy in July 2002. I then worked in a local Salon and there qualified as an LCN Nail Technician August 2002.
A year later I moved jobs to work for skincare company Clarins and gained valuble experiance in the skincare industry.
After another year I decided to go back to working in a salon as I missed the other aspects of Beauty Therapy. There I trained with Creative Nail Design and discovered my passion for all things nails. I worked there for 2 years gaining more experience and then in May 2006 decided to take the step to start my own business.
Since I started my business in 2006 I have completed advanced nail education with CND and am now a CND Master Nail Technician. I am currently working towards my goal of becoming a Grand Master which will further enhance my skills and knowledge of all things nails. I have also completed training in the application of Xtreme Lashes eyelash extensions and have completed an advanced course to become an Xtreme Lashes advanced lash stylist. In December 2010 I moved to a new premises, within Studio One, Nettlebed. Oxfordshire.
Since then I have gained more time and added new treatments and added the product line Dermalogica. I have completed training in the Dermalogica skin care products and treatments and have ongoing further training in all aspects of the skin and skin care. I have used Dermalogica personally since I discovered it at college and am excited to now be able to offer this product line to my clients.
I am currently training in CACI Ultimate aesthetic skin treatments to be able to offer the award winning Non surgical face lift treatment and a host of other exciting treatments. I am also taking a further course in Lava shell massage in autumn 2010 to offer a wonderful new massage therapy to clients.
I believe you can never stop learning so I make sure I take courses regularly to keep updated with the fast growing beauty industry.
